MBA Guidelines:

All expenses, apart from a limited number of exceptions, may be paid from a Minister’s Benefits Account.

The following expenses cannot be paid from an MBA

• Fines or penalties​
• Taxation levies
• Payment for the preparation of annual taxation returns
• Child Support or other Centrelink payments
• Offerings
• Donations to Deductible Gift Recipients
• Expenses that will be claimed as Tax Deductions
• Cash Withdrawals​
